Humana is one of the nation’s largest publicly traded health and supplemental benefits companies. Shortly after inking a deal with Walmart, Humana's Senior Products Division partnered with WD to run a program that required the rapid design, production and implementation of an interactive healthcare and benefits kiosk, which would be set up inside Walmart stores across the United States.

Our design consisted of frosted acrylic panels fixed to a powder-coated metal structure, which created a clean look while still allowing for privacy inside. Each unit was equipped with a flat-panel monitor for educational media, as well as external slots for printed collateral that is easily accessible by shoppers.

The timeline was tight, and the kiosk had strict design requirements. After the prototype was approved, we manufactured, shipped and installed 3,250 workstations in key Walmart and Sam's Club locations from Maine to California.

A phenomenal success, the healthcare kiosk produced sales in the first 15 days in operation that matched that of an entire year of the Senior Products Division.
