WD Partners ranked second largest retail design/architecture firm

WD Partners has been named as the second largest retail design firm in the nation by revenue. The industry rankings were announced in the March 2007 "Design 100" issue of Display and Design Ideas magazine. The firm designed more than 22 million square feet and completed 2,000 projects for retailers and restaurants such as The Home Depot, Starbucks, Benihana, Wawa, Wendy's, and Supervalu.

Retail Construction Magazine also named WD Partners the second largest retail architect in their January/February issue.

"It's great to have attained this kind of stature within our industry," said Chris Doerschlag, CEO of WD Partners. "I contribute our success to the expertise and dedication of our talented people, and our specialization in serving chain retail and restaurant companies."

Founded in 1968, WD Partners designs and rolls out stores for national retail and restaurant chains. The firm provides emerging and established brands with a single source for all the expertise needed to cost-effectively and efficiently expand. WD Partners' integrated approach offers faster openings, as well as stores that cost less to build and are more profitable to operate.

The company also recently received several national design awards from Chain Store Age magazine, the Institute of Store Planners (ISP)/VM+SD, and the National Association for Store Fixture Manufacturing (NASFM) for Supervalu's "Premium Fresh & Healthy" store, a new Benihana restaurant, The Home Depot's new c-store, called Fuel, and TravelCenters of America's Goasis.
