We immersed ourselves in shopper mindsets and trip missions—stock-up, fill-in, and quick visits—to design a journey rooted in convenience and clarity. By aligning store flows and adjacencies with customer expectations, we built a model that simplifies shopping, integrates BOPIS and curbside pickup, and enhances both guest and team efficiency.




We helped Meijer develop two store formats—an updated Supercenter and a smaller grocery-focused model—each designed for operational consistency and community connection. Optimized layouts, efficient pickup logistics, and a scalable toolkit allow the brand to grow confidently while maintaining a consistent guest experience.
