It also gives us the opportunity to see issues and trends not possible with only a regional view. Over time, we have been able to recommend significant changes and simplification to their store development process that have proven highly cost-effective, and extremely beneficial. With a streamlined store development and construction process, the retailer enjoys a shortened construction cycle and reduced store construction costs.

:		Consistent with the main store’s aesthetic, utilizing an open ceiling, concrete floors, rivet details, rich masculine colors, and The Home Depot’s signature orange

Results  |  Brief A new convenience retailing concept, called Fuel, was developed to better serve “heavy user” contractors—estimated to be 30% of their core customer base. Located on Home Depot outparcels, the Fuel concept was designed to align with The Home Depot brand. The simple and uncluttered floorplan carries about half the number of items in a traditional convience store. Merchandise is stocked to meet the target customers’ needs, including snacks and beverages in “XL” sizes.
