Healthcare for an Aging America
The United States is experiencing a significant demographic shift as the 65-and-older population is projected to double in size by 2060. With this aging population, the demand for medical services is expected to increase dramatically, putting pressure on healthcare spending and resources. As one-third of active doctors will be older than 65 in the next decade, a potential shortage of up to 120,000 physicians by 2030 is anticipated. To address these challenges and improve outcomes for seniors, a new wave of senior health specialists is emerging.
